Southwest ICE Block is a privately owned company, that manufactures and distributes ICE Block Insulated Concrete Forms throughout the United States. Our customers are energy-conscience people looking for a "Green" building product that is an energy efficient, environmentally sound, sustainable, alternative building material to conventional home and commercial building products. We are a customer oriented company that will help our clients from the beginning stages of planning and engineering, through the final stages of construction. Based in Phoenix Arizona we are currently building a network of wholesale distributors to facilitate sales, construction, and technical support throughout the country. It is our belief that, by working with our customers through their entire project, we will build a lasting relationship. What Are Insulated Concrete Forms:
We manufacture insulated concrete forms, commonly referred to in the industry as ICF's. These forms are hollow core forms of expanded polystyrene face shells connected with galvanized steel studs perforated to provide added strength as a connector between the two face shells. The cores of the forms are filled with concrete and reinforcing steel to construct a solid, monolithic concrete wall. The concrete wall consists of vertical columns spaced 12 inches on center and horizontal beams spaced 16 inches on center. Between the columns and beams are webs of concrete with a minimum thickness of 2 inches. They measure 48 inches long and 16 inches high, and come in several widths.

Because of our contacts with architects, interior designers, structural engineers, and contractors, we are able to help you plan and build your house or commercial project from start to finish. We can show you and explain the many ways in which an ICF building can save you money up front and in the future. Unlike a one time savings that some builders offer the customer as incentives, ICF's offer savings throughout the life of the building. We can build your building for you, train you on site to build your own building, or you can work on one of our current projects to learn ICF construction practices. We can also provide supervisors to over see your building project at an hourly rate. We will also work with your architects or designers to help them understand how the system is installed. If installing ICE Block building system is of interest to you, we can train you to become a qualified installer in your area.
